Clearing the pub before refurbishment begins

Saturday 11th March: That’s the first skip filled and it won’t be the last as we clear the pub and garden ready for contractors to move it to start refurbishing The George.

The George becomes a Community Pub!

We marked the transfer of the pub into our hands at the end of January with the appearance of wonderful hanging baskets and replanted tubs, filled with cheerful Spring flowers, at the front of the George. Thank you Annie Smith!
